Basketmouth has finally opened up on the robbery ordeal, his new project and life after 38.

About two weeks ago, Nigerians woke up to a rude shock when popular comedian, Bovi, posted on his Instagram page that Basketmouth got robbed.

Many of his fans were quick to sympathise with him while others were apprehensive as nothing was heard about the humour merchant.

Ever since the incident occurred, the ace comedian had not spoken about the encounter he had with the men of the underworld.

Like any doting father, he thanked God that his children were unaware of the robbery incident because they were asleep all through the encounter.

“I will rather not talk about the robbery incident because it is in the past now. I just thank God nobody was hurt. My kids were asleep throughout the incident so that is something to really thank God for as the trauma would have messed them up for a while.”

Opening up new projects, he said “I have a lot of projects before me but soon, I will revisit it. Also, I have been working on a movie for a while now, but due to time constraint, I have not been able to start production but I will do so soon though,”

“I am good at making low points become high points. In everything that comes my way, I always thank God while believing that there is a reason for it. The ability to embrace everything in good faith and never backing down or getting distracted is one thing I thing I am good at.”

Nollywood actress, Bimbo Akintola has revealed why she cries effortlessly in movies. Well, according to the star actress it is easy for her to shed tears because she is a very passionate person.

“I cry out of frustration. When I am upset, I cry. I am one of those people that cry easily because I am a very passionate and emotional person.

If I am frustrated, I can cry. If I am angry and you ask me to explain myself, I would cry, I am that kind of person; so I cry regularly,” she said.

The sultry actress further revealed that she is not throwing in the towel any time soon when it comes to her career because it is the reason for her existence. She added that there is only one reason that would make her quit acting.

“I have several mummies in the industry and I am like them. I have Taiwo Ajai-Lycett who I know would act till the day she dies; I know Joke Silva would act till the day she dies and I will act till the day I die.

I can never get tired or walk out of this profession. Acting is my reason for being; it is one of the main reasons for my being,” Akintola said.

Controversial queen, Kemi Olunloyo has come for popular blogger, Linda Ikeji over her age.

Following Linda ikeji’s birthday message last week, where she opened up to Nigerians on her wishes, Kemi Olunloyo, who has berated the top blogger, severally came for her again.

She called her desperate and claimed Linda Ikeji is 42 not 36.

“An entire country was brainwashed byIkeji a bloggers age. Linda Ikeji turned 42 last week and everyone used her industry age. So laughable,” Kemi said

“Linda Ikeji said she has not fufilled her wish yet, no man, no kids, poor thing. You don’t force those things, you take your time.” She added.

Recall that the blogger celebrated her birthday last week, as she told Nigerians she was 36, and that her wish is to settle down and have bunch of kids.

Raggae singer, General Pype has opened up on what he regrets most about the death of late Dagrin.

The artiste, who is on a guilt trip noted that he regrets not visiting the late rapper at the hospital after his accident.

General Pype admitted that he couldn’t bring himself to see his fellow artiste on his hospital bed, because he lacked the courage to take in the sight.

“I met Da Grin through Sheyman who told me that he was one of my biggest fans. I sat outside my house one day when he came around. When I saw him, I asked if he was Da Grin and he answered in the affirmative,” He said

“He seemed so excited to meet me and from that day till he died, he never called me General Pype, he always referred to me as Baba. I really miss him a lot. I miss the fact that he was down-to-earth despite the way the entertainment industry could be.”

Further describing the late rapper, General Pype said “Da Grin was a very humble, thoughtful and kind guy. He loved me because he was also from Abeokuta,”

“The most painful part of our relationship was the fact that when he was in the hospital, I did not go to visit him. I was just waiting for the day he would be discharged so that I could jokingly slap his head and scold him for drinking and driving but I did not get to do that.”

“I am so pained because a day before his death, I was supposed to visit him with a girl I was dating then who was in the media. The lady asked me to accompany her and when she noticed my reluctance, she said I could sneak into the hospital and nobody would see me but I refused.”

“I told her that I did not want to see him in that state and that I wanted him to come out of it alive but he never did. I never visited him at the hospital; I was waiting for him to come home. I regret that I did not visit him in the hospital.”
